Redwood National Park

Location: California

This park was established on October 2, 1968. It spans over 139,000 acres and is known for its redwood trees. It is also home to a wide variety of wildlife, including Roosevelt elk, black bears, mountain lions, and numerous bird species. There have been extensive efforts to protect and restore the redwood ecosystem, including reforestation projects and removal of non-native species.
