This park covers approximately 15,000 acres and holds a variety of ecosystems including forests, wetlands, prairies, and dunes. The park features more than 15,000 acres of sand dunes, with some dunes reaching up to 200 feet in height. Visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities including hiking, camping, bird watching, fishing, and swimming.
