Derinkuyu

Located in the Cappadocia region of Turkey, Derinkuyu is an ancient underground city built about 3,400 years ago.

One neat feature is that it was a multi-leveled city descending approximately 200 feet deep. 

Derinkuyu is open to tours and visitors can walk through its narrow chambers and tunnels.
